Playgroup (Mondays) - Spring 2024

Join the MONDAY Winter/Spring Session of our fun and relaxed parent and child playgroup! We'd like to invite parents and caregivers of little ones aged 0 to 5 to be a part of our unstructured and child-led playgroup, running from 9 to 11 am in the Lower Hall of the Mount Pleasant Community Centre. It's a wonderful opportunity for children to explore, play, and make new friends while adults get to connect and share the joys and challenges of parenting. This playgroup is open to everyone! Not just Mount Pleasant residents. This session runs until to June 24.

Our group runs and thrives on volunteer efforts! Keyholders are especially important as they open and close the hall each week for the group - if we do not have enough volunteers for the keyholder position, we will have to cancel. Other roles include board member, party helper, toy cleaner, and more. We also have a shared snack duty.

*Please note: We must register all participants, including infants and drop-ins as there is a building capacity.  Registration must be completed by the child's guardian, not a nanny or day home provider. A nanny can be added as the adult attending playgroup. You are required to have a Mount Pleasant Community Association (MPCA) membership before you buy a ticket for the Playgroup Event. If you have not registered for a MPCA Membership yet, 1) click on the LOGIN button (top right), enter your email and follow the steps to make a login. 2) Go to Membership link (top middle) to purchase a membership. MPCA memberships are non-refundable. Playgroup tickets can be refunded within 2 weeks of the start of the session, minus a $2.50 transaction fee.
